News: K-Mart sells blockbuster title two weeks early. Internet doesn't explode with rage. Much.

Cheap Ass Gamer is reporting that two members of its online community managed to bag a copy of Mass Effect almost two weeks before its street date. Forget those people being lucky, K-Mart seems to be the root of it all, and the same site also mentioned that several online retailers such as Walmart and Toys ?R' Us, are listing the game as in-stock.

A similar thing happened with Halo 3 and Microsoft threatened to ban members of Xbox Live who played it early, so it's probably best to stay offline if you have a copy of the game and want to play it before everyone else!

It doesn't end there though. No sir ? a copy of the game went for sale on eBay and sold for $100, with free postage and packaging. The shock comes at the low price, way before the retail version is available, where it could easily have sold for up to double the price it did? well, if the seller pushed their luck, that is.
