E3 09: Need For Speed: Shift car roster and track list revealed @ Gaming Target

News: 65 cars, 18 tracks, 4 platforms, all at E3.

Electronic Arts is truly committed to restoring the Need For Speed name to its former luster after a few less-than-stellar offerings in the series. They've even gone so far as to split the series into two games: the more arcadey Need For Speed: Nitro and the more sim-like Need For Speed: Shift.

On that note, today, EA revealed the car roster and track list for Need For Speed: Shift.

Spanning 37 years, players will be able to fill their virtual garage with a variety of cars from classic road machines (1972 Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R) to the latest additions on the showroom floor (2010 Ford Shelby GT500).
