News: Bet you'll never guess what's number one.

Nintendo has released their annual financial report and in the report they've detailed some of the Nintendo-published DS and Wii titles that have sold over one million copies worldwide (conspicuously absent from the list are The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, among others). All told, 16 DS games and 11 Wii games have been confirmed to have crossed the platinum sales barrier with Nintendogs being the top dog on the DS and Wii Sports being the MVP on the Wii (which is unsurprising since Wii Sports is the bestselling video game of all-time).

Here's the complete list. Read it and be amazed:

Nintendo DS
  • Nintendogs (all versions) - 22.2 million
  • New Super Mario Bros. - 18.4 million
  • Personal Trainer: Cooking - 18.4 million
  • Brain Age - 17.4 million
  • Pokemon Diamond/Pearl - 16.8 million
  • Mario Kart DS - 14.6 million

  • Kirby Super Star Ultra - 2.3 million
  • Pokemon Ranger - 2 million
  • Rhythm Heaven - 1.9 million
  • Professor Layton and the Curious Village* - 1.6 million

    Nintendo Wii

  • Wii Play - 22.9 million
