News: Only this time, it's alt country.

Harmonix has announced the downloadable tracks that will be added to the Rock Band Store next week (Tuesday on Xbox Live, Thursday on the PSN). They include a second dose of country music (this time the "alternative" kind) and a three pack of songs from Jimmy Eat World.

The Alt Country Pack is a five song set that includes...

  • Neko Case - "People Got A Lotta Nerve"
  • Steve Earle - "Satellite Radio"
  • Lucinda Williams - "Can't Let Go"
  • Drive-By Truckers - "Three Dimes Down"
  • Old 97's - "Timebomb (Live)"

The pack will be available to download for $8.49 on the PS3 (or 680 Microsoft Points on the Xbox 360) while individual songs will be offered for $1.99 (or 160 Microsoft Points) each.

Also appearing next week will be the first Jimmy Eat World Pack. A three song set from the band, it will include "Futures", "Lucky Denver Mint" and "Sweetness" and will be available to download for $5.49 on the PS3 (or 440 Microsoft Points on the Xbox 360). As with the Alt Country Pack, the songs will also be available individually for $1.99 (or 160 Microsoft Points) each.
