News: Hard Drive, headset and more for $99.
Microsoft really wants to bring owners of the Xbox 360 Arcade online (because that's where all that big Xbox Live Marketplace money can be had) and to do that they have announced the Xbox Live Starter Pack.
The Starter Pack is designed for Xbox 360 Arcade owners who want to move up to the Pro version of the console without having to buy an entirely new system. The pack includes a 60 GB Hard Drive, a headset, an ethernet cable and a three month Xbox Live Gold subscription. And naturally, the pack will be sold for $99.99, which is exactly the same as the price difference between the Xbox 360 Arcade ($199.99) and the Xbox 360 Pro ($299.99).
The Xbox Live Starter Pack should be available in stores soon.
