News: A new level and new characters coming to Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
1UP has the story that LucasArts is hard at work on a new level and new characters for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
The new level will be set in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and is one of eight levels that was originally planned for the game, but was cut during production. The new characters will include Luke Skywalker (in his Return of the Jedi garb), Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ki-Adi-Mundi (AKA the Jedi Master with the big forehead), and Kit Fisto (AKA the green Jedi with the tentacle dreadlocks that is killed by Palpatine).
The 1UP article also includes the tidbit that the Force Unleashed development team has brainstormed more than two dozen locations in the Star Wars universe and that they could show up in future "episodic" download packs.
A price or release date for this downloadable content was not revealed.
