News: The headline really says it all.

The PlayStation.Blog has revealed that a new edition of the popular game show Jeopardy will be added to the PlayStation Store today. Developed by Sony Online Entertainment Los Angeles, the game will include single-player, offline multiplayer and online multiplayer modes. Other features include:

More than 2,500 clues and categories randomized for multiplayer games.

Single-player games versus AI with three levels of difficulty (Average, Smart and Genius).

Voice chat for online multiplayer games.

Expansion packs with new content (coming in 2009).

Sadly, the questions appear to be all multiple choice, which definitely goes against the spirit of Jeopardy. Jeopardy will be available to download for $14.99.

Shalom Mann, Senior Vice President of Development at Sony Online Entertainment Los Angeles also confirmed that a PSN version of Wheel of Fortune is also in development.
