Activision has announced that the stars of the upcoming James Band Quantum of Solace will be lending their likenesses and voices to the tie-in video game. The Quantum of Solace game will also include levels based on the previous Bond movie, Casino Royale, and the stars of that movie will be on hand as well.
Activision has announced six actors that will be appearing in the Quantum of Solace game: Daniel Craig as James Bond, Judi Dench as M, Mathieu Amalric as Dominic Greene, Olga Kurylenko as Camille, Eva Green as Vesper Lynd and Mads Mikkelsen as Le Chiffre. Jeffrey Wright (who played Felix Leiter) was not listed by Activision, but hopefully he makes an appearance as well.
?Quantum of Solace represents a new era for James Bond video games, allowing players to step into the role of Daniel Craig's 007 agent as embodied in ?Casino Royale' and the upcoming Bond film,'? said Mark Lamia, Studio Head for Treyarch. ?With the tremendous support we've received from the film studio and unprecedented access to the key talent from the movie, we are thrilled to be able to deliver a true, more exciting Bond universe to gamers and fans who have waited years for this game.?
Quantuam of Solace will be a first and third-person shooter that is being developed with the Call of Duty 4 engine. The game will be released for the DS, PC, PS2, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 this November.
