I have seen some amazing looking games in my day and The Whispered World ranks among the top ten.

Developed by Daedalic Entertainment, The Whispered World is centered around a clown named Sadwick and his pet worm Spot as they search for meaning in their lives. The game will be a point-and-click PC adventure similar to "Escape from Monkey Island". But perhaps the most intriguing thing about this game is the backgrounds... absolutely mind blowing.



If you found the art of Odin Sphere appealing this is a game you should check out, even if only for the screens.

While we do not know much else about the game yet, the game's homepage says the game will be released this year.
