News: A release date has finally been announced.
EA and Maxis have stopped being vague with the release date for the highly anticipated Spore. Today, the two companies confirmed that Will Wright's next game will be released on September 7 for the PC, Mac and DS.
УThe wait is almost over,Ф said Maxis Chief Designer Will Wright. УWe're in our final stages of testing and polish with Spore, and the team at Maxis can't wait to see the cosmos of content created by the community later this year.Ф
Spore is the brainchild of Sims creator Will Wright and asks players to oversee the evolution of a planet from single-celled organisms (the spore of the title) all the way to the space age.
We'll have more soon.
