EA announces Nerf N-Strike and other Hasbro games @ Gaming Target

News: The first games in the EA/Hasbro deal have been announced.

EA and Hasbro have announced the first games that will come out of their recent partnership.

EA's casual division announced new three games today based on Hasbro properties. These games are Nerf N-Strike and Littlest Pet Shop for the Wii and DS and a downloadable version of Operation for the PC. Operation will not be a recreation of the board game, but instead a hospital-based minigame collection.

Nerf N-Strike sounds like it will take advantage of the Wii Zapper, but EA will also be releasing a special controller that not only can be used for the game, but it will shoot real Nerf darts as well. The game will also feature several multiplayer modes.

Additionally, the company announced Yahtzee Adventures and Monopoly: Here and Now for mobile phones and online versions of Yahtzee, Monopoly: Here and Now and Trivial Pursuit for the company's Pogo.com portal.

Nerf N-Strike and Littlest Pet Shop are both being developed at EA Salt Lake and will be available this fall. Operation is being developed by EA's casual divsion and will also be available this fall. We'll have more soon.
