News: Valve has confirmed that the "Goldrush" map will be hitting Steam within a month.
Valve has confirmed that the newest Team Fortress 2 map, ?Goldrush.? will be coming to Steam ?within the month.? Along with the new map comes a new game mode, ?Escort,? in which contestants will be tasked with escorting a mine-cart down a series of timed checkpoints.
The more BLU players protecting the cart the faster it will travel. But if a RED player enters the area the cart will come to a halt. allowing bloodshed and guts to cover the surrounding area. Valve's other planned content, the remake of ?Badlands? and plans on bringing new weapons to players who have unlocked enough achievements are still in the works.
The content will hit Steam first, and therefore accessible to PC players first. Xbox 360 and PS3 owners will also be receiving all the planned content, albeit at a later date. Valve confirmed that the content will be free of charge for players of all ilk and creed.
