News: Online card collecting from Canadians!



Geoffrey MacDougall, the lead designer of the upcoming browser-based strategy game Rise & Ruin, has sent along word that development is going well and that they are "very close" to releasing a playable beta.

Rise & Ruin is a browser-based online collectible card game and it is being createed through a partnership between Canadian developers Veil Entertainment and Spore Productions. For more background on the game, you can read our full preview here.

MacDougall would go on to say the Rise & Ruin team has been working on the game seven days a week for the last several months.
