News: Cooking Mama is scared.

A short listing on the United Media Licensing website has revealed they will be involved in the creation of a game based on Iron Chef America for the Wii. The cooking sim will be published by Destiner and is currently scheduled for a Spring release.

Aside from the publisher and the a general timeframe for the release, nothing else is known about Iron Chef America. Here is the blurb from United Media Licensing's website that announced the game:

IRON CHEF GETS A NEW PLATFORM
Building off the success of the recent spin off reality series, The Next Iron Chef, which premiered to 3.3 million viewers on Food Network, licensee Destineer will release the Nintendo Wii Iron Chef America video game. Offering players an interactive experience where they can be an Iron Chef, the game will make its way to retail in 2Q08.

We'll have more soon.
