News: Rock out with no wires.

Activision has announced that standalone wireless guitars for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock will be available in early 2008.

These will be the same guitars Activision is currently selling packaged with the game, a Gibson Les Paul model for the PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 and a Gibson Kramer model for the PS2.

Pricing details and a more specific release date will be announced later.
