News: Bungie's plate is very full indeed.
Bungie and Microsoft have both been very quiet about Bungie's future since the announcement of their split back in October. But Harold Ryan, Bungie's studio manager, recently sat down with UK magazine Develop to detail what the company has planned for the future.
In a very lengthy (and interesting) interview detailing Bungie's past, present and future was this beautiful nugget:
Develop: So, what's next for Bungie?
Harold Ryan: We [...] have Halo DLC on the way, and a new IP prototype that we are very excited about. Then we have other Halo games that are cranking along also.
So there you have it. Bungie is working on Halo 3 downloadable content (which is not a big surprise) along with a new game that is in the prototype stage. And then there are at least two more Halo games in the pipe, but Ryan was careful not to use the magic words "Halo 4" so they could be anything.
Maybe that
Halo MMOFPS rumor isn't so farfetched after all?
We'll have more on Bungie and all things Halo as we learn it.
