News: The VC snaps up another classic console.

Hot on the heels of the NeoGeo announcement, Hudson has announced they will bring games from the TurboGrafx-CD to the Wii's Virtual Console this fall.

The add-on, which was never very popular in America, was first released for the TurboGrafx-16 in 1988.

TurboGrafx-CD games will be available for download at a cost of 800 Wii Points. Hudson has said the Japanese Virtual Console will begin seeing these games in October with other regions getting them "soon thereafter."

It's currently unknown which TurboGrafx-CD titles will be available for download, but Hudson has said they will offer over five games in 2007 and over ten in 2008.

We'll have more soon.
