News: But when we'll see these games is anyone's guess.

Comedy Central, Matt Stone and Trey Parker have signed a new contract that extends their working partnership through the year 2011, and the 15th season of South Park. The deal is also notable for stating that new video games based on the show may be on their way soon.

According to the New York Times, in addition to more episodes of the television show, the new deal states that Parker and Stone "have agreed to create a hub to spread South Park-related material across the Net, mobile platforms, and video games."

Obviously, it's much too early to discuss any information about the development status of any new South Park games.

Three South Park games were previously developed and published by Acclaim for a variety of platforms between 1998 and 2000. Only one, a South Park first person shooter released for the Nintendo 64, has scored above 60% on GameRankings.com.

Since that time, the South Park boys have tackled the popular MMORPG, World of Warcraft, with a 2006 episode titled "Make Love, Not Warcraft." Blizzard would later add the "Sword of a Thousand Truths," a fake weapon created for the episode in the WoW expansion, The Burning Crusade.

We'll hopefully have more on any future South Park games soon.
