D3 and Illusion Softworks to create new game for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 @ Gaming Target

News: Mafia creator to develop a new game for D3.

D3 Publisher has announced they will publish an original game from Illusion Softworks (creator of Mafia and the Hidden and Dangerous series) on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the fall of 2008. No details were revealed yet on the untitled game, but all involved are excited.

?As Illusions Softworks marks their tenth anniversary as a first-class developer this month, they celebrate a reputation for delivering high-scoring, top-quality videogames and consistent success,? said Yoji Takenaka, executive vice president and chief operating officer, D3 Publisher of America. ?D3 is pleased to partner with this talented group in order to provide gaming enthusiasts with a compelling new videogame for 2008.?

This deal marks the first time D3 has formed a publishing agreement with a European developer.
