News: The launch puzzler gets a sequel this week.

Busting blocks in the underappreciated Hexic HD was a favorite pasttime of mine after I acquired my Xbox 360 as I'm sure it was for many 360 owners. And now, the Xbox Live Arcade will be graced with a full sequel that features multiplayer play.

In fact, Hexic 2 will feature "special pieces, challenges, additional formations (i.e. formatted for widescreen TVs) and an innovative head-to-head battle mode!" Hexic 2 will be available for 800 Microsoft Points.

This week will also see the release of Ecco the Dolphin on the XBLA. The Genesis classic will be updated to include an online leaderboard that tracks "Best Time," and enhanced graphics and sound. It will be available for 400 Microsoft Points.

We'll have more on both of these titles soon.
