IGN is reporting that Unreal Tournament 2007 has been rechristened Unreal Tournament 3 and that it will be coming to the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in the second half of 2007. Of course, Unreal Tournament 3 will be the fourth game in the UT series, but we'll let that slide.
According to Midway, the game will sport more intelligent AI, new weapons, new characters and a better online experience. PC users will also be given the Unreal Engine Toolset, which will "[enable] them to build their own levels, game types, rules, mods, and more."
