News: The Wii exclusive SSX Blur is coming early next year.

EA has revealed the first details of the upcoming SSX game for the Wii.

SSX Blur will be developed by EA Montreal and will appear only on the Wii as an exclusive entry in the snowboarding series. It is scheduled to ship in March 2007.

The game is being built from the ground up and will take full advantage of the Wiimote.

?We wanted to take the soul of the franchise?the air, the speed, the tricks, the fun?and Wii-ify it,? said Alex Hyder, producer on the product. ?You're going to see that reflected in the On-the-Ground & In-the-Air controls, the characters, the user interface, and every other aspect of this game.?

As with every other SSX title, SSX Blur will be published by EA's EA Sports Big arm. We'll have more soon.
