News: Namco-Bandai drops some new details and some new screenshots for their PS3 debut.
Namco-Bandai announced today that they will be bringing Mobile Suit Gundam to the PS3 sometime in 2006. Considering the PS3 launches on November 17, we can assume this will be a "launch window" title.
This new Gundam game will platoon players in "the latter stages of The One Year War". Players will get to suit up as part of the Federation or Zeon Mobile Suit Assault Force and will unlock new and more powerful Mobile Suits as they progress through the game. Fully destructible mechs and teamwork tactics will also play heavily in the game.
УMade possible by the immense power of the PlayStation 3 system, 'Mobile Suit Gundam' will take gamers right into the futuristic war zones, brought to life by both CG quality high-definition graphics and ultra realistic destruction physics,Ф said Naruo Uchida, NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc.'s Vice President. УAlong with stylized gameplay and stunning graphics, the opportunity to experience firsthand the epic mobile suit warfare will surely excite any sci-fi fan.Ф
