Lumines II, the sequel to the PSP's biggest launch game, is on track for a November release. And today, Buena Vista Games has revealed the game's soundtrack.

Music videos from the following artists will appear in Lumines II:

Beck – “Black Tambourine”
Black Eyed Peas – “Pump It”
Chemical Brothers – “Star Guitar”
Fatboy Slim – “Gangster Trippin’”
The Go! Team – “Bottle Rocket”
Gwen Stefani – “Hollaback Girl”
Hoobastank – “Born to Lead”
Junior Senior – “Take My Time”
Missy Elliott – “Lose Control”
New Order – Song Unknown

And these songs will appear on the soundtrack, sans video:

Junkie XL – “Breezer”
Stigmato Inc – “Reality Check”

Finally, the game's music will be rounded out with tracks from Japanese artists Mondo Grosso, Ken Ishii and Techriders.

“In order to showcase my vision for ‘Lumines II,’ we needed to find music and videos with just the right tone, mix and energy to incorporate into the game,” said Tetsuya Mizuguchi, chief creative officer of Q Entertainment. “I couldn’t be happier with the result and am excited to get the game into players’ hands.”

We have entered a brave new world, handheld games are being promoted with their licensed soundtracks. We'll have more on Lumines II soon.
