News: Play against Mr. Matthew Miller in NHL 2K6. And download his newest music video.

Jewish reggae superstar Matisyahu is the latest pick for Xbox Live's "Artist of the Month" program. And I say: good for them, Matisyahu is amazing.

Interested Xbox 360 owners will be able to download the video for Matisyahu's latest single, "Youth", in high defintion 480p or 720p.

Matisyahu will also be taking part in the next "Game With Fame" contest as players can win a chance to take on the singer in NHL 2K6. Considering his love of basketball I figured either of the NBA games would have been a more obvious pick.

"Gaming is a great way to connect with people and Xbox Live gives me the ability to reach out and connect with fans from all over the world," said Matisyahu. "Being the Xbox Live Artist of the Month is a huge accomplishment and I'm looking forward to getting online and playing some NHL 2K6 during the Game with Fame."

While Matisyahu may not conjure images of your average gamer, a quote from "Youth" does seem to sum up the upcoming next-gen console war perfectly: "Young man, the power's in your hand. Slam your fist on the table and make your demand. Got the freedom to choose. You better make the right move."

Truer words were never spoken.
