News: One of Acclaim's big franchises has found a home.
After the BMX XXX debacle, Acclaim practically killed one of their most lucrative franchises, the Dave Mirra BMX series. However, after many years on the dustpile, Dave Mirra has been resurrected by Crave for another game go-around.
Scheduled for an October release on the PSP, Dave Mirra BMX Challenge will let players ride 9 different bikes through 17 levels in 9 different environments. Four player Ad Hoc play is also being planned.
"Dave Mirra is the king of BMX, widely recognized and admired in the action sports lifestyle community," says Jim Flaharty, senior vice president of Crave Studios. "His enthusiasm for his sport and video games make him a great partner and an invaluable contributor to the development process."
We'll have more on Dave Mirra BMX Challenge soon.
