News: Blitz Games announces one of the first third party games for the Revolution.
Blitz Games, the company responsible for Pac-Man World 3 and Bad Boys: Miami Takedown (among others), has announced they are developing a new title for the Revolution.
The game currently has no title and no release date. Blitz then said that real details about the game will be "announced shortly by a major publisher."
But to fill the void, we have executives talking about how exciting this all is.
Andrew Oliver, co-founder and Development Director of Blitz Games commented, "We're genuinely very excited to be working on the Revolution. Nintendo's innovation over the years has trail blazed new concepts and the new controller is no exception. It will give people new ways to play existing genres but moreover we hope it will spawn altogether new gaming experiences.
Philip Oliver, CEO Blitz Games added, "This latest addition to our portfolio clearly signals that Blitz is one of the few major developers with the capability and technology to work on both next and current generation titles simultaneously. Our strategy of a fully featured, well structured tool chain and cross platform engine has really paid off and we are quickly able to incorporate these new platforms with relative ease making our development faster and more efficient."
Blitz Games is currently developing Possession, a zombie RTS, for the PS3 and Xbox 360. So there's the possibility that's what this announcement could turn out to be. We'll keep you posted.
