Share N4G : News for Gamers

2K Games has announced the latest addition to their growing 2006 edition of Major League Baseball: World Baseball Classic Mode.

The World Baseball Classic is the 16 nation World Cup of baseball being held this March, with the championship being decdided March 20 in San Diego. With Major League Baseball 2K6, players will be able to recreate this tournament from the comfort of their own couch.

"The excitement is building for the inaugural World Baseball Classic," stated Greg Thomas, president of Visual Concepts, a 2K Sports studio. "International baseball brings a fresh new take on the sport as players from across the world compete for their home country. This new baseball experience will be brought to life for gamers to enjoy only in Major League Baseball 2K6."

Major League Baseball 2K6 will ship for the Xbox, Xbox 360, GameCube, PS2 and PSP sometime this Spring.
