News: The hunt begins again.
Far Cry Instincts has been unofficially coming to the Xbox 360 for a while now. Today, Ubisoft made it official and let us know exactly what Far Cry Instincts: Predator is.
But first, you need to know what Far Cry Instincts: Next Chapter is. Next Chapter is a Far Cry expansion for the original Xbox that features "an entirely new story, characters and game features that reflect and improve upon the critically acclaimed elements of the first title."
On the other hand, Far Cry Instincts: Predator is an Xbox 360 compilation of the original Far Cry Instincts and Next Chapter but given the whole HD treatment. Predator "will captivate gamers with its enhanced graphical reality and gameplay. Giving gamers the opportunity to discover the Far Cry universe in an optimized, high-definition environment, the game takes advantage of Xbox 360's multi-core next-generation engine for improved performance."
As for concrete details, we don't have much. We know both games are scheduled to ship in Spring 2006. Ubisoft also said that the Next Chapter subtitle of the Xbox version is subject to change.
But I'm sure we'll find out more concrete details soon.
