News: Looks like THQ and the WWE are finally getting some competition.
Ever since the WCW went to that big squared-circle in the sky, THQ and the WWE have been the only game in town when it comes to pro wrestling.
In steps Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, a new league that has signed a multi-year deal with Midway to create PC, console and handheld games based on the league.
TNA iMPACT! airs on Spike TV on Saturdays at 11 PM. TNA iMPACT is also the current working title of Midway's game and it is currently scheduled for release on current generation consoles in 2007.
TNA features a stable a former WWE stars and new talents like Raven, Jeff Jarrett, Monty Brown, Rhino, Christopher Daniels, Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles and Kevin Nash. And we'll have more on their future in the video game world as the 2007 release comes closer.
