Back On Target: Welcome to Gaming Target; enjoy your stay!

It's been some quite a while now, but I would like to welcome you to Gaming Target, and if you are a returning reader, let me welcome you back. Today, Gaming Target has opened to the public and for the arrival, not only do we have a fresh look to our design and revamped style, we have created an additional Sony section, to go along with the previously existing Nintendo and Sega Target. Our aim is to please you, the reader, and it looks like our target goal was hit with success launch wise.

So, wondering who exactly made the fantastic site? Well, I could take all the credit, but my staff...would quit. Who are they? Some of the hardest working people in the gaming industry, and to learn more about them, take a look at the staff page. You will be able to check out all the staff members' bois and learn more about them later when we set that up in due time. For now, you can just email them to the addresses we have on the staff page.

The main reason you most likely came to Gaming Target is because you wanted to check out all the information we have on Nintendo, Sega and Sony, and let me tell you that this is the best place to do just that. You can do that everyday, cause we update daily, and the news is updated 24/7, that means non-stop news coverage. Also we provide News Comments from our staff that adds a lot of insight to the daily news items. Not only will you be able to find 24-hour news updates, but also read up on our previews, reviews, and articles. Our previews will deal with the latest software developers are working on, giving you insight on the games progress, and the reviews will take the final product under our judgment. Although we have had these two segments of the site in previous versions, as do almost all other sites, Gaming Target shall offer a greater number of reviews and previews, and you can rely on us for the content.

As far as articles comes, you will find out the opinions of our staff in gaming related subjects relating to the section, and read about events and other topics throughout the industry. Features are much like articles, but are on a larger scale, offering more content, and usually deal with multi-sections.

You can send your mail to the mailbag where you will probably see it answered next time we update that section, and look forward to finding contests each month with numerous prizes to reward the winners.

In the way of communication, Gaming Target has opened new forum and has setup a brand new chat room. Our new forum includes many impressive features and is a great way to interact with staff members and other readers of the site. The chat room has been growing tremendously, as well, and is a great place to discuss various topics with fellow gamers. In addition, reader reviews will be implanted shortly after E3, and a newsletter and poll will show up on the left navigation column very soon as well.

Other then the links and the release dates, that's it for Nintendo, Sega, and Sony Target. Some new things will be popping up, like more polls, a newsletter and even more affiliates. There are also many more surprises lined up to that we can't really talk about, but trust us when we say that they will be unique and original to you.

For information on new events at Gaming Target, you can always check out the features for more site news, which is your key to finding all the facts on new features set to appear, the changes to be made, future plans for the company and site network, and additional announcements that would affect the entire website.

Well, that's all for now folks. Although we still have a lot of ground to cover, the rest of the staff and I hope that you enjoy your time at Gaming Target, and come back again.
