You wouldn’t admit it in public; in fact you might be willing to physically attack anyone that said as much. But in your deepest heart of hearts, you’ve always dreamed of being Liza Minelli on stage. Why you find sequined dresses and big stage productions exciting can stay between you and your therapist, but at least you can act out at home, away from everyone else, thanks to Xbox Music Mixer. Just get out the included mic, plug it in, and let the rhythm flow through your body. Work it girl!

Can’t find that special instrumental version of Afternoon Delight? Strip! No, don’t get naked you feeb! Strip the vocals from the song and sing along. If the song of your desire isn’t one of the dozen that will ship with Xbox Music Mixer you can strip vocals from your existing CDs, or choose from the many packs that will be forthcoming for use with it. Rumor currently has it more than thirty should be available for purchase by this Holiday season, giving you plenty of time to practice up so that no matter how much eggnog you may have Christmas Eve, you can still belt out the tunes even if you aren’t able to stand on your feet.

There’s so much more it has in store to surprise and amaze you! How’d you like to finally get some of your favorite MP3s onto your Xbox? Apparently you weren’t alone. (There’s that guy Edd in accounting who wanted to do that too.) For the first time in the history of man you’ll be able to share media between your PC and your Xbox. And it’s not just those Tiny Tim’s Greatest Hits tracks you’ll able to move over to your Xbox.

Remember all those pictures you compulsively took of Reverend Williams at the last church ice cream social? Move ‘em over to the ol’ Xbox and show them in all their glory on your 21 inch big screen TV in the family room. Once transferred to your Xbox you can create a multimedia masterpiece featuring the good reverend doing that chicken dance to Black Sabbath, just like the voices told you he should. There will even be special effects you can employ to help give your presentations that tripindicular spin you know they need to really wow your friends and family.

To ring out the Old Year and bring in the New, what better way to get your New Years Eve party grooving than spinning your own custom music mix with real-time special effects. YOU get to be Mr. DJ with the Xbox Media Player, building your own play lists for any mood or occasion. Hopefully you’ll have plenty of time before hand to make that special play list, “Music for my New Years Eve party if no one shows up”. Regardless of your status as a social misfit you’ll have a whole heap of great music at your fingertips ready to roll at your slightest whim. After all, it’s all about you, right?

Final Thoughts
All this and it supports Xbox Live, too. Suh-weet!
