World of Goo 2 Arrives on PlayStation 5 and PC

News: The sequel to World of Goo has finally arrived on some more platforms and offers some nice improvements over the original.

2DBoy and Tomorrow Corporation have announced that World of Goo 2 is now available on PC via Steam and PlayStation 5. All version of World of Goo 2 will receive the new trio of levels, achievements, and all other updates, incorporated to the existing game that was already available on other platforms. In Word of Goo 2 you will discover realistic, flowing, viscous liquid. Control its flow like a river, convert it into Goo Balls, extinguish fires, and solve puzzles.

The full release includes:

Three new extremely difficult challenge levels

Bug fixes and general improvements

Over 30 extra achievements

Acclaimed audio with nearly two hours of music performed by over 50 musicians from the World of Goo community

A brand new options menu that has never been included in a 2DBoy or Tomorrow Corporation game

Discover new species of Goo: Jelly Goo, Liquid Launchers, Growing Goo, Shrinking Goo, Explosive Goo, and more. All with mysterious new properties. Experience a new story over the course of five new chapters, bursting with over 60 new levels, each featuring additional challenges.

A powerful company has re-branded as an environmentally friendly, sustainable, green, clean, Goo processing non-profit. Help them collect as much Goo as possible. But what do they really want? Explore a new story spanning hundreds of thousands of years and watch the world change. Guide as many Goo Balls into the exit pipe of each area as you can. ...but what's on the other end of the pipe?
