Virgo Versus The Zodiac Arrives Later This Month

News: A new JRPG is on the way where the villain and the hero of the story will depend on who you ask.

A new pixel-art JRPG is on the way with Virgo Versus The Zodiac. It arrives in just a few weeks time and will be available on all consoles. This announcement coincided with the release of a new animated trailer. This new trailer showcases the journey that you will go on as the Holy Queen, Virgo. Of course, the heretics call you the Dreadful Queen so I guess it is just a matter of perspective.

The premise for Virgo Versus The Zodiac is below:

Virgo’s quest to restore the cosmos is a righteous one. The Holy Queen is going to bring back the Golden Age of the Zodiac Realms, a period of peace and balance. Some might call her quest unforgiving, and even twisted, but those heretics don’t know what they’re talking about. Virgo’s worldview is correct, and anyone who stands in her way to stop her is a villain. She is definitely the hero of this story.

Virgo Versus The Zodiac utilizes precision timing combat elements to add an additional layer of skill to its turn-based gameplay. Learn your enemies, counter their attacks and time your holy strikes correctly to smash through their defenses. Virgo Versus The Zodiac forgoes random encounters, instead opting for bespoke, unforgiving battles designed specifically for your quest.

This journey through the Zodiac Realms will take you to an array of diverse locations full of people and items to interact with, including the other Zodiacs themselves. Explore well, though, as depending on your interactions, the fate of the cosmos could change drastically. Oh, there’s also a shoot ’em up mode if you’re in the mood.
