A new space farming simulator set on a desolate planet will be arriving later this month via Steam Early Access. One Lonely Outpost will have you add some much needed life into a curiously empty alien world as a pioneer. You will have to transform wastelands into blossoming fields ready for a number of curious colonists to inhabit. You will get to explore, plant, craft, fish, and take on the task of creating a community to carry on humanity’s legacy, all starting from a few mysterious seedlings.
Form a colony from the ground up, with options to terraform the planet’s surface with the help of its only other inhabitant – your adorable robotic pet. Discover the plethora of fish, bugs, and other flora and fauna living in this otherwise lifeless world, chronicling every new material or creature in the Omninac for future reference. You will also have to utilize key ingredients to create delicious recipes from a hearty menu.
Building an outpost into a thriving colony won’t be easy though. You will have to overcome unbreathable air, inedible food, unfertilized ground, and inaccessible water sources. You will have to circumvent these challenges, attract new colonists, and build new relationships along the way. Discover what came before on the planet, unearthing the secrets hidden beneath the now-uninhabitable surface.
“Prepare for an experience past the stratosphere, because One Lonely Outpost is taking one small step for man and one giant leap for mankind onto Steam Early Access,” said Bryan Herren. “We appreciate everyone’s patience, and colonists waiting on the loading dock can finally get suited up for an EA launch on PCs!”
One Lonely Outpost will also arrive on consoles a little later with the official 1.0 launch. It will be on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch, in addition to being on PC via Steam.
