Chibig has made their Kickstarter campaign page public for Mika and the Witch’s Mountain. It will start on February 1 and help the development team finish the game for release on PC via Steam and consoles in 2023.
This adventure takes us to a small island where Mika, an apprentice witch, makes a living delivering packages to the inhabitants of a small coastal village with her magic broom. Her journey will take us to the top of the mountain, where a powerful witch awaits Mika to teach her valuable lessons about life and magic.
The Kickstarter campaign will begin on February 1 and run for 30 days, with digital and physical rewards closely related to the game's story and witch theme.
It will also coincide with the release of the Mika and the Witch's Mountain demo at the Steam Next Fest, which will take place from February 6-13, allowing players to make the wait for the game's official release later this year 2023 more bearable.
Mika and the Witch's Mountain has attracted a lot of attention from the gaming community for its aesthetics, reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker, but also for its story, very similar to that of the Ghibli film Kiki's Delivery Service.
