Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Pre-Order Beta Available Now

News: You can now play the next Warhammer game a couple of weeks before the full release if you pre-order it.

Fatshark has revealed that you can get a sneak peek at Warhammer 40,000: Darktide ahead of the game’s release later this month with a pre-order beta that is now available. Beginning today, players can choose from four missions across four zones. More missions will be added throughout the Pre-Order Beta period, while the team will also run in-game events (conditions) to challenge players in new ways. This ramp-up allows for fine-tuning and scaling heading into the full release. The in-game store will be closed until the launch of the full game.

The plan is to carry over a player's progression - although unforeseen issues may force the team to revisit these ambitions.

“Running this Pre-Order Beta is our way to actively address common issues games experience at launch and also a ‘Thank You’ to our most committed fans,” says Martin Wahlund, CEO of Fatshark. “We know it’s been a long wait, but Darktide is finally just around the corner”.

During the next two weeks, Fatshark will update players via social channels, forums, and the in-game launcher.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Imperial Edition - $59.99

Loyalist Pack: Purge heresy in style with these 4 unique class outfits, 8 weapon skin patterns, one headgear, and an Ogryn body tattoo.

Mortis Veteran Portrait Frame: A cosmetic portrait frame used to pay tribute to the fallen defenders of Tertium Hive.

Caducades Backpack: A cosmetic backpack for human characters. Scavenged from the fallen troops of Cadia, this backpack has been repurposed to serve those still alive and fighting.

2500 Aquilas (premium currency)

All owners of Vermintide or Vermintide 2 that purchase Darktide will receive the Devoted Rejects Pack for free on November 30. The pack consists of five unique facial customization cosmetics and tattoos that are inspired by the Vermintide heroes.
