Valkyrie Elysium Demo Now Available From Square Enix

News: If you have been waiting for Valkyrie Elysium to be released, you can get a sneak peek right now with this new demo.

Square Enix has announced that a free demo for Valkyrie Elysium is now available to download exclusively for the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. Players can now experience the action combat mechanics and begin their journey through the first section of the game as the protagonist Valkyrie in this new entry of the Valkyrie series. Players’ save data will carry over to the full game when it launches on September 29, 2022.

In Valkyrie Elysium, a young Valkyrie is entrusted with the fate of the world by the All-Father, the highest of gods and ruler of all creation who will face various enemies on her quest and must utilize a variety of weapons, magic, and the power of her allies to prevent Ragnarok—the destruction of the world. Valkyrie Elysium calls on its roots with music from series regular Motoi Sakuraba while driving the series forward in a fresh, new direction with classic combat mechanics, such as finishing moves and combo systems, reimagined for an action RPG.

If you would like to learn more about Valkyrie Elysium, you can tune in to the Tokyo Game Show 2022 live stream featuring Valkyrie Elysium on Saturday, September 17th, at 2:30 am, Pacific time. The live stream will include both Japanese and English so a wider variety of people can enjoy it.

Valkyrie Elysium will have both a digital and a physical version on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. It will only be available digitally on PC via Steam. A Digital Deluxe Edition will also be available on all platforms. Valkyrie Elysium is currently slated to be released on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on September 29, 2022. It will arrive on PC via Steam on November 11, 2022.
