News: A new first-person shooter has arrived on the market with a pretty unique twist they hope will stand out from the competition.

Bright Memory: Infinite, the high-octane, visually stunning first-person shooter made by indie developer FYQD Studio and published by PLAYISM, is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

Originally released on PC in November 2021, the console ports of Bright Memory: Infinite include all the cosmetic DLC, available in one purchase, with gameplay content identical on all platforms. Bright Memory: Infinite delivers powerful gaming hardware optimization, supporting 4K resolution with raytracing on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, both running at a locked 60 frames per second, with the option of a 120 FPS performance mode, while Xbox Series S supports 1440p at 60 FPS.

Meanwhile, Nintendo Switch players enjoy a native port with gyroscopic aiming support and multi-sampling of TAA anti-aliasing for a stylish presentation on the go achieving ultimate crispiness in gameplay. PlayStation also offers exclusive DualSense adaptive trigger support. Xbox owners get a series of exclusive weapon skins and a 20% discount for those who purchased the original Bright Memory.

A sudden unnatural weather disturbance in the sky interrupts Lunar New Year festivities and Supernatural Science Research Organization’s top agent, Shelia, must investigate. Immediately thrown into the heat of the action, she squares off against relentless waves of hostile and strangely futuristic soldiers armed to the teeth and giant mythical beasts straight out of Chinese folklore, while a supermassive black hole appears in the sky and slowly engulfs the landscape.

You will have to master the art of the sword to attack at close range and repel bullets or fight in a traditional first shooting style. You will be able to choose between a plethora of artillery for long-range attacks and pair attacks with Shelia’s psychic abilities to deliver stunning combos on enemies. Evolve her speed, and power, and unlock special upgrades in an extensive skill tree as enemies grow feistier as she approaches what’s pushing the world to its nearing collapse.

“Today feels like a momentous day, after years of blood, sweat, and tears, Bright Memory: Infinite finally launches on consoles,” said Zeng, indie game developer, FYQD Studio. “Thanks to everyone who supported Bright Memory, Bright Memory: Infinite on PC, or just shared a kind word of support to get us here!”

Bright Memory: Infinite is now available for $19.99 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch and supports English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese voice and text, traditional Chinese, Latin American Spanish, German, French, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, and Korean language text. Will you be picking it up?
