News: If you subscribe to one of the new PS Plus tiers you will also gain access to a good sized library of Ubisoft games.
Some good news for PlayStation gamers as Ubisoft has revealed that their service, Ubisoft+, is coming to Sony’s platform. This service is currently available on PC, Amazon Luna, and Google Stadia, and will soon be on PlayStation as well. Don’t worry if you are an Xbox gamer because Ubisoft announced it would eventually be on Microsoft’s platform as well.
Beginning on May 24, the service will launch for PlayStation Plus and be called Ubisoft+ Classics. This service will have a carefully selected library of titles, including top franchises such as Assassin’s Creed, The Division, Far Cry, and more. The Ubisoft+ Classics library will feature 27 at launch and looks to have 50 games available by the end of 2022.
The games that will be available as part of Ubisoft+ Classics on day one include the following:
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
For Honor
The Crew 2
Child of Light
Eagle Flight
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon
Far Cry 3 Remaster

“With Ubisoft+ Classics, we’re providing PlayStation players with another way to enjoy Ubisoft games on their consoles,” said Chris Early, Ubisoft’s senior vice president of partnerships. “This is just the beginning, as we will ultimately make Ubisoft+ available to PlayStation owners as we continue to build our vision and provide players with more options to access their favorite games, wherever they are.”
Ubisoft+ Classics will be a part of the new PlayStation Plus tier system that Sony is introducing in the near future. That means there will be a rollout for Ubisoft+ Classics arriving with the service and when you will be able to access it depends on where you live. If you would like to have Ubisoft+ Classics as part of your PlayStation Plus subscription, you will need to subscribe to one of the two new tiers, either PlayStation Plus Extra or PlayStation Plus Premium.
