Ishtar Games’ new publishing studio is now accepting applications from indie developers. They are particularly interested in games in the management, RPG, strategy, survival, adventure, or roguelite genres, due to their wealth of experience bringing titles in these genres to the market. They are also considering games with deep gameplay, and/or an unexpected mix of genres and strongly believe that their published games should uphold their ethical values.

Ishtar Games’ prides itself on offering a handcrafted approach for new developers and wants to ensure that each developer is offered a fair deal. As indie developers themselves, Ishtar Games knows the struggle of working in survival mode and trying to get their foot in the door. They want to make this process smoother for other developers and have strong core values around teamwork, diversity, transparency, and kindness.

Following their acquisition by NACON in October 2021, Ishtar Games has created a conscientious publishing studio that upholds their company’s core values - teamwork, kindness, diversity, and handcrafted products. Having personally experienced the highs and lows of indie development, Ishtar Games wants to ensure that they’re offering developers the best opportunities available to help them become a success.
