Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R Now Available on Consoles and PC

News: A new Fast & Furious game based on the animation series is now available where you need to stop a special vehicle from falling into enemy hands.

Outright Games, in partnership with Universal Games and Digital Platforms, announced today the release of Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R. Developed by 3D Clouds, this action racing game is available now on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC Digital. Current-gen versions on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, along with Google Stadia, will be available at a later date.

Inspired by the Universal Pictures and DreamWorks Animation series Fast & Furious: Spy Racers, notorious criminal gang SH1FT3R is back in the game and it's up to the Spy Racers to stop them from winning a spectacular vehicle that will cause chaos in the wrong hands. Players go undercover and drive as their favorite Spy Racers including Tony Toretto, Echo, Cisco, Layla Gray, or even the notorious SH1FT3R gang including Shashi Dar, Moray, Rafaela Moreno, and more. Players can race solo, or with friends and family via split-screen couch co-op, as well as multiplayer for up to four players on Nintendo Switch and six players on all other platforms.

The global racing tournament features show-stopping tracks in five locations including Los Angeles, Rio de Janeiro, and the Sahara Desert. Players can use high-tech spy gear to gain the upper hand in the game's story mode and spy weapons to speed through secret shortcuts and personalize customizable cars with a huge range of colorful skins. Additionally, voice talent from the series includes Tyler Posey (Tony Toretto), Charlet Chung (Echo), Jorge Diaz (Cisco Renaldo), Camille Ramsey (Layla Gray), and Luke Youngblood (Frostee Benson) reprise their roles in the game.

SH1FT3R Is Back – Race as fan-favorite Spy Racers characters, including Tony Toretto, Echo, Cisco, Layla Gray, or even race as the notorious SH1FT3R gang during multiplayer mode. Use innovative gadgets to gain the upper hand and tear up the tracks in a globe-trotting racing tournament.

Couch Co-Op and Multiplayer – The Spy Racers must show the whole world they're the fastest, coolest, and most talented racers! Customize vehicles with unlockable skins and race against online opponents, AI-controlled drivers, and friends with couch co-op and online multiplayer.

Fight To The Finish Line - It takes more than speed to win this racing challenge. Armed with 15 spy gear weapons inspired by the Netflix original series, the Spy Racers need to blast past rivals to earn the victory.

Fast & Furious: Spy Racers began airing on Netflix in 2019 and is executive produced by Vin Diesel, Chris Morgan, Neal H. Moritz, Tim Hedrick, and Bret Haaland. The series follows Tony Toretto and a team of teenage street racers who are hired to infiltrate an elite racing league, which is serving as a cover for a criminal organization that is intent on world domination. Season four of Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Mexico is streaming now on Netflix. The latest chapter in the Fast & Furious saga - F9 - was released earlier this year and is available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD & Digital Now.

Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R releases today for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC Digital. Next-gen versions on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, along with Google Stadia, will be available soon. Additionally, a free upgrade will be available for Xbox One owners on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 4 owners on PlayStation 5 when the next-gen versions are released.
