News: Traditionally a holiday release, the next WWE game from 2K Sports will release during the first quarter of 2022.

WWE 2K22

WWE 2K22 has a release timeframe and it isn’t what you think. Traditionally a Fall release, WWE 2K22 will instead arrive in March 2022. It is going to be a part of the “Road to WrestleMania” season where WWE slowly gears up to the biggest show of the year, taking place in Dallas next year.

This reveal was made with a video package of WWE 2K22 gameplay featuring WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio, as well as a first glance at Roman Reigns, Goldberg, Bayley, Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, The Miz, Sheamus, Shinsuke Nakamura, Rhea Ripley, Finn Bálor, Ricochet and Kane.

WWE 2K22 promises new controls, incredible graphics, and a redesigned engine for the most impressive WWE 2K experience to date. As part of the game’s development process, 85% of the in-game roster has taken part in facial scanning for ultra-realistic and updated character models, and more than 3,400 new animations have been captured. More details will be revealed in January 2022.

Take a look at the aforementioned video package and then tell us what you think. Will you be picking up WWE 2K22 when it releases in March?
