If you want to try out Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair but you aren’t sure if you will like it, good news. Team17 and Playtonic Games have announced that a demo is available to download for free on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation Store and PC via Steam. This demo has no time limit so there aren’t any interruptions in you playing it to decide on whether or not you want to buy the full version. If you decide that you like the game and do want to purchase it the save from the demo will carry over, meaning you won’t have to start all over again.
Set after the climactic battle of the original 2017 3D platformer, Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, this brand new adventure sees the colorful chameleon and bat duo attempt to free Queen Phoebee’s kingdom by releasing her captured Beettalion across the colorful game world. Throughout the game, players can attempt to tackle Capital B’s latest and greatest threat yet – the eponymous Impossible Lair itself.
