News: Rockstar has revealed that PC gamers will be able to join everyone else in the Wild West beginning next month.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC this holiday season according to Rockstar. The first game in the Red Dead franchise to appear on PC, it hosts a range of graphical and technical enhancements to further increase the immersion. It will also have new Bounty Hunting missions, Gang Hideouts, Weapons, and more. Of course, purchasing Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC also comes with free access to Red Dead Online, which will feature all previously released improvements and the latest content updates.
Rockstar recently unveiled their own game launcher which is where you can pre-order Red Dead Redemption 2 is you are interested. If you put in your pre-order before October 22, 2019, you will get two free games on PC. The list of games in this promotion include the following:
Grand Theft Auto III
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Bully: Scholarship Edition
L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition
Max Payne 3: The Complete Edition
If you pre-order Red Dead Redemption 2 on the Rockstar Games Launcher you will also receive free upgrades to the Premium editions of Red Dead Redemption 2, with both the Special Edition and Ultimate Edition discounted by $20 each. Furthermore, you will also receive these pre-order bonuses:
Outlaw Survival Kit for Story Mode
War Horse for Story Mode
Treasure Map for Story Mode
Cash Bonus for Story Mode
50 Gold Bars for Red Dead Online
These pre-order bonuses are only available on the Rockstar Games Launcher through October 22nd. If you don’t want to purchase through Rockstar’s launcher you still have options. Beginning on October 23rd you can pre-order at the Epic Games Store, Greenman Gaming, the Humble Store, GameStop, and other digital retailers, with a pre-order bonus of 25 Gold Bars for Red Dead Online. It will also be available as a Google Stadia title at launch.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently slated to be released in November on PC. If you prefer Steam over all of those other stores you will have to wait a bit longer to play Red Dead Redemption 2 as it won’t arrive on the Steam platform until sometime in December. Over the next few weeks, Rockstar is going to release other details, such as system specs to see whether or not your PC can run this title.
