News: Sega’s mini system seems to be getting better and better as ten more games are revealed.

”Sega

The Sega Genesis Mini is coming later this year and we now know more games that will be on it when you pick it up at stores. Once exclusive to the Sega Channel in North America, Mega Man: The Wily Wars, a compilation of the first three Mega Man entries, finds a new home on Sega Genesis Mini. The Blue Bomber will have some competition, though, because Street Fighter II': Special Champion Edition will also be on the system, courtesy of Capcom. They also announced the Retro-Bit Sega Genesis and Sega Mega Drive 6-button controller will be released in late August with a price point of $19.99.

Rounding out the list, is the notoriously challenging Ghouls 'n Ghosts. In order to save the souls stolen by the evil Lucifer, the brave knight Arthur must fight off hordes of demons, and all that stands between him and certain death is a suit of armor.

In addition to all of that, the next 10 games that have been revealed for the Sega Genesis Mini include the following:

  • Mega Man: The Wily Wars

  • Street Fighter II': Special Champion Edition

  • Ghouls 'n Ghosts

  • Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle

  • Beyond Oasis

  • Golden Axe

  • Phantasy Star IV: The End of the Millennium

  • Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball

  • Vectorman

  • Wonder Boy in Monster World

  • The Sega Genesis Mini is slated to be released on September 19, 2019. There will be 40 games included on the system. Will you be picking it up when it arrives in stores? Tell us what you think below.
