RBI Baseball 19 was recently released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. It has been revealed that a new update is on the way (or perhaps already installed depending on when you read this) that fixes some issues that the game had at launch. The following improvements have been made on all three platforms:
Eliminated periodic freeze that occasionally occurred following a pitcher substitution for a pinch hitter
Improved fielder animations
Enhanced AI baserunner decision-making
Improved pitch calls (fair/foul/strike) when ball bounces off a tarp
Resolved UI discrepancies in franchise injuries system
Correctly displayed updated player photos
Improved pitcher stamina display in select screens in Postseason mode
Added 150th anniversary patches to all modern uniforms
Improved San Francisco Giants alternate road uniform
Resolved catch animation occasionally not playing in online games
Eliminated crash that occasionally occurred on loading screen following a Franchise game
Other minor bugs resolved
