Crackdown 3 Now Available on Game Pass and In Stores

News: Channel your inner Terry Crews and wreak some havoc as you attempt to take the city back from a corrupt corporation.

Crackdown 3 is now available from Microsoft and Sumo Digital. In Crackdown 3 you will need to take back New Providence from the corrupt TerraNova Corporation. Available in stores, and as a free download for Game Pass members, Crackdown 3 about over the top fun, tons of explosions, and just wreaking havoc in general as you gain more powers each time your character levels up.

Crackdown 3 features 21 playable agents, with one of them being Commander Isaiah Jaxon, played by Terry Crews. The Crackdown franchise has always been about freedom and being able to tackle objectives any way you see fit. Crackdown 3 continues that trend by allowing you to choose how you are going to save New Providence. If you want, you can try and take out the final boss almost immediately. Of course, you probably won’t get very far in that battle as you will be pretty weak at that time, but the option is still there for you to give it a shot if you so choose. If you want to make things easier on yourself you can go around and eliminate some of her lieutenants and other baddies to soften up her defenses. The way you level up is also up to you as well. If you want to level up your Agency Vehicles quickly, for example, you can pick an agent to play who specializes in driving and then just continuously run your enemies off the road.

You can go through the campaign by yourself or join in with a friend to cause twice the destruction and mayhem. Additionally, you can jump into the Wrecking Zone multiplayer. Wrecking Zone is powered by the Azure cloud and it is here where you can battle it out in fully destructible environments. Two teams of five battle it out to see who can reign supreme. If you see some enemies trying to hide in a building, you can just take the building down. If they are running across a bridge, eliminate the bridge before they get to their destination. The choice is yours how you want to handle things in Wrecking Zone’s two game modes, Agent Hunter and Territories.
