News: A new way to experience Ninja Theory’s highly regarded title is arriving soon for PC gamers.

”Hellblade:

Ninja Theory has revealed that Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will be getting the virtual reality treatment. It will be coming to Oculus Rift and HTC Vive on July 31st, however, it will not be coming to PlayStation VR. The reason for this is that the way the virtual reality experience has been built for Hellblade, the PlayStation VR unit isn’t powerful enough to run it.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice in virtual reality will remain in the third person perspective. According to Ninja Theory this will work by having the player control the camera and Senua’s direction with their head. Hellblade VR has also apparently been optimized to run at 90fps, something that took them a couple of years to accomplish. If you want to experience Hellblade in VR on your PC though, it should be noted that a GTX1080 is the minimum recommended graphics card.

Another piece of good news is that this Hellblade VR experience will be a free update when it arrives on July 31. That way if you already have the game on PC and you have a PC capable of running this you will be able to immediately jump in and get even further immersed in Senua’s story.

Take a look at the video below which comes courtesy of the “Road to VR” Youtube channel. Do you plan on experiencing Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice via virtual reality?
