News: The update isn’t as big due to the holidays but there are still some nice titles you might want to try out.

It is a bit of a light week on the eShop thanks to the holidays but there are a few new games that are available now for the Nintendo Switch. In addition to the new games that are now available there is also a new demo so you can try before you buy. The games that are available on the Switch eShop right now include the following:

  • SteamWorld Heist: Ultimate Edition - Prepare to command robot pirates in epic tactical shootouts. SteamWorld: Heist is a turn-based strategy game with an action twist: By manually aiming your weapons you’ll pull off insane bullet-bouncing trick shots. The Ultimate Edition includes “The Outsider” campaign, which features a mysterious ally and a shipload of new weapons, upgrades, hats and missions.

  • Mighty Gunvolt Burst - Demo - Rather than make a direct sequel to their bite-sized 2D action game Mighty Gunvolt from 2014, Inti Creates has made the next installment in the Mighty Gunvolt series a brand new full-sized game that features characters from multiple universes with Gunvolt (Azure Striker Gunvolt) and Beck (Mighty No. 9) taking the stage once again, but in a much deeper and more expansive world that differs greatly from the original in many ways.

The game systems have been completely revamped and powered up with lots of new additions, including a deep character customization system that lets you mold and shape your character into the ultimate hero that works best for you.

  • ACA NEOGEO The King of Fighters ‘96 - A total of 27 playable characters are available. New game mechanics such as the Emergency Evasion, short and mid-hops make their entry for the first time in the legendary Series, adding a new depth to the fights. The story focuses on the second chapter of the Orochi trilogy.

  • Arcade Archives: vs. Super Mario Bros - "VS. Super Mario Bros." is an action game released in 1986 by Nintendo. Mario and Luigi must go on a widespread adventure in order to rescue Peach from the clutches of Bowser. This version is from the Nintendo VS.SYSTEM, and the positions of enemies and items differ from the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) version.

  • Guns, Gore and Cannoli - The game tells the story of Vinnie Cannoli and his mob family, set in the fictional Thugtown circa 1925, the height of prohibition. Beneath the city overrun by zombies, there's a dark story of conspiracy and betrayal. Unravel the sneaky mafia ways and government conspiracy while you try to look for your lost pal and for answers about the zombie-outbreak.

  • Woodle Tree Adventures - Woodle Tree Adventures is an old school platform game with a catchy and unique art style. You will find all the classical elements from the 90's games and new interesting ideas. Explore a total of eight worlds and save the lands with the magical water drops you'll find during your journey, bringing back peace and balance and finally becoming the New Hero.

  • What do you think about these games? Which ones will you be purchasing?
